9.3.2 Claim Codes

When a parent creates a profile for a child, the child can later claim ownership of it.

How to claim a profile​

  1. The child must be 13 or older.
  2. The parent generates a claim code from Settings → Family.
  3. The child starts their own signup at app.arenalinq.com/athletes and enters the claim code when prompted.
  4. The child completes signup with their own email address.

After claiming​

  • The child can now sign in with their own email and edit their profile directly.
  • The child's email becomes the primary login for the account.
  • The parent retains read-only access — they can still view the profile but can no longer make edits.
